I had been using a Sculpt and Contour palette from Revolution as my go to for everyday – as you can see from the picture below it was a complete mess and I kept getting it all over my brand new cream carpet, Yikes! I desperately needed a new one….
Then I spotted these beauties on a recent shopping trip. They are pressed powders from Urban Decay, and come in 7 different shades. It’s an all in one trio palette with bronzer, highlight and blush.
The consistency of the powders are creamy, I went for the shade ‘STREAK’ after swatching them in Debenhams – I choose this palette as it had a slightly softer formula than some of the other shades in the range and was more pigmented.
I love how this applies, it blends really well. The bronzer is golden in colour and doesn’t look muddy at all. I usually tend to go for a pink shade of blush, this is more peachy but I picked this palette based on the bronzer and highlight. The highlight is like silk and glides on with amazing pigment and leaves a beautiful glow. This palette is buildable for an evening look and also great for a daytime barely there look!
The only thing I don’t like about this contour palette is the powders being packaged all as one, I would prefer to have each product separate inside the palette – I know some people like to mix the colours together but I’m trying my best not to mess them up to much!
This Contour kit when on the face photographs really nicely – which is a major plus for us selfie takers, the camera really picks up the glow from the highlight!
I love the packaging, it has a fairly large mirror inside considering the size of the compact and it has a magnetic close. Overall I’m really happy with this Urban Decay palette and dependant on how it lasts for £25 I would repurchase.
