L’Oreal Paris Elvive Full Restore 5 Damage Rescue CIA-Cream – Leave-in treatment
The product we know famously for Cheryl Cole swishing her hair all over our TV screens. L’Oreal claim this product can reduce the appearance of split ends and prevent further breakage, the conditioning formula is meant to help protect your hair against external aggression such as brushing. The cream is aimed at any one with Weak, Limp, Dull, Lifeless and Straw-like hair.
I had been on the look out for something to use in my hair on the days which I don’t shampoo and condition it, I tend to pop some dry shampoo on my roots (Batiste is my hero) but on day 2 and 3 my ends are dry and sparse and in need.
I picked up a bottle of the L’Oreal treatment from Boots. When I first got the product home I checked the back of the bottle for instructions – surprisingly there isn’t any directions on how to use.
Here is a picture after I’ve applied onto my dry hair (2nd day hair),It’s quick and simple to use, I dispense 2 – 3 pumps into my hands and apply directly onto just the ends. I did test this product on wet hair prior to blow drying but found its most effective on dry hair.
This leave-in treatment smooths my hair and leaves my ends looking really fresh, I can easily make it until the 4th morning before washing my hair – which will do wonders in the long run as we all know how important it is not to over wash our hair.
Overall I love the results this cream gives, it revive’s and refreshes my hair. I think it would be great on all types of hair, especially for someone who suffers from frizz. It’s really lightweight – doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave it looking greasy and has a nice fresh scent. I can’t say this product has made any difference to my split ends or prevented any from occurring – only regular trims can help with that!
L’Oreal Full Restore Cream retails at just £5.10 but is currently on offer at Boots for just £3.50 I’m really impressed with the results and affordability of this hair treatment. I’d recommend this product to everyone!
Thank you for popping by!
